Documents that raise questions can answer them

An AI Skilled Agent is an agentic AI agent built from your document. It generates the skilled agents the document needs, answers for the document, follows your rules, and talks to the AI agents on the other side.

Why the recipient’s agent will use yours

AI agents are being built to do this kind of review

Gartner expects 40% of enterprise applications to include task-specific AI agents by the end of 2026, and ecosystems of specialized agents collaborating across applications by 2028. Give an agent that reads your document something it can work with, not just a file.

1

They get an answer, not a file to parse

A PDF has to be read, interpreted and guessed at. An AI Skilled Agent answers the exact question that was asked.

2

Every answer is cited and versioned

The recipient’s agent, and the person reviewing it, can see which page the answer came from and which version of the document it was.

3

They can tell what is binding

Each answer is marked approved, or held for approval. The recipient’s agent does not have to guess whether a commitment is real.

4

It speaks the standard protocols

Agents that use A2A or MCP can connect without a custom integration. Both now sit under the Linux Foundation’s Agentic AI Foundation.

5

Fewer round trips

Follow-up questions are answered in the same place. When a person has to decide, the status is visible instead of an email thread.

A2A and MCP are now both under the Linux Foundation’s Agentic AI Foundation; the Linux Foundation reports more than 150 supporting organizations and production deployments. If the other side’s agent does not use them, people can still use your AI Skilled Agent in a browser.

Use cases

Real industry workflows, and what changes

Six industries where documents raise the same questions again and again.

Industry use case

Enterprise software and IT vendors

The pressure today
RFPs and security reviews land on the same few people. Teams report an average of 33 hours per RFP response, and they answer only about 55% of the RFPs they receive. Loopio, 2026
The document
RFP response and security pack
What the agent does
Answers buyer questions from the approved pack, with the page cited. Hosting and data-residency commitments go to Security and Legal first.
Why the other side’s agent uses it
The buyer’s review agent can finish a vendor review in one session instead of waiting for a completed spreadsheet.
Industry use case

Professional services firms

The pressure today
Proposals depend on facts held by different people, and people are stretched: in Microsoft’s 2025 Work Trend Index, 80% of workers said they lack the time or energy to do their job effectively, and interruptions arrive about every two minutes. Microsoft Work Trend Index, 2025 (via Allwork.Space)
The document
Proposal and statement of work
What the agent does
Answers scope, team and timeline questions from the proposal. Rates and staffing changes go to the partner for approval.
Why the other side’s agent uses it
The client’s agent can compare several proposals question by question.
Industry use case

Construction and engineering

The pressure today
Bid packages and specifications generate a steady flow of requests for information (RFIs). Industry sources put the average time to close an RFI at roughly 9 to 13 days, depending on project size and delivery method. Helonic, April 2026, citing Dodge Construction Network and Procore data
The document
Bid package, drawings and specifications
What the agent does
Answers routine scope and specification questions from the current documents, with the page cited. Design changes go to the engineer of record.
Why the other side’s agent uses it
Subcontractors’ agents get consistent answers faster, and the project team sees which questions still need a decision.
Industry use case

Insurance

The pressure today
In a 2025 survey of 500 underwriters and executives, 56% of underwriters said they rely on static guidelines such as PDFs and spreadsheets, and underwriters reported spending an average of 26% of their time on unwinnable submissions. Federato, 2025 State of Underwriting Report
The document
Underwriting guidelines, appetite and policy wordings
What the agent does
Answers brokers’ questions on appetite, requirements and coverage wording from the current documents. Exceptions go to an underwriter.
Why the other side’s agent uses it
The broker’s agent learns what the carrier needs before submitting, so fewer submissions come back incomplete.
Industry use case

M&A and fundraising

The pressure today
The global median diligence period is 170 days, and only 49% of projects reached completion in the third quarter of 2026. Buyers can ask up to 500 questions on a single project, and each has to be answered before the deal moves on. Datasite, October 2026
The document
Data room and diligence documents
What the agent does
Answers routine diligence questions from the data room, with sources. Sensitive questions go to the founder or finance lead before they are answered.
Why the other side’s agent uses it
The investor’s agent gets consistent answers and can see which are confirmed and which are pending.
Industry use case

Contracts and procurement

The pressure today
The average business loses about 9% of value a year through poor contract management, according to WorldCC. Questions about what a contract says are part of that. WorldCC, 2025
The document
Master agreements, policies and vendor responses
What the agent does
Explains clauses with the source page. Anything that changes terms goes to Legal. On the buyer’s side, your agent asks each vendor’s agent the same questions and compares the answers.
Why the other side’s agent uses it
Counterparties get quick, consistent answers on standard terms. Binding changes stay with a person.
A worked example

A security review, start to finish

An illustrative scenario. The company and the dates are examples.

Illustrative scenario

The security pack becomes an AI Skilled Agent

A software company’s security lead uploads its security pack and picks the security playbook. Encryption and access policies can be shared. Hosting and data-residency commitments need Security and Legal approval.

The buyer’s agent connects and asks

The buyer’s review agent connects over A2A and asks where customer data is stored. It gets the answer with the page cited and the version stated.

One question needs a person

The buyer’s agent asks the vendor to commit to Germany-only hosting. The AI Skilled Agent replies that this needs approval, and sends a decision to the approvers.

The answer is approved and recorded

Legal approves with one edit. The agent replies in writing and publishes the updated document. The buyer’s agent sees the status change from pending to approved.

The buyer closes the review

The buyer’s reviewer reads the answers with their sources and closes the review. Both sides have the same version and the same trail.

We will turn one of your documents into an AI Skilled Agent and show you how it answers.
