Share Smart AI is an AI-powered document sharing platform. We are currently in public beta. Our contact email is support@sharesmartai.com.

2. What data we collect

During beta, we collect:

Account information: name, work email, company name
Documents you upload for AI processing
Questions asked by your document recipients
Usage analytics: page views, feature interactions, session duration
Recipient behaviour signals: document views, time spent, questions asked

3. How we use your data

To provide and improve the Share Smart AI service
To process your documents through our AI pipeline
To generate analytics and intent signals visible to you as the sender
To send you product updates (you can unsubscribe anytime)
We do not sell your data to third parties
We do not use your documents to train AI models without your explicit consent

4. Document data

Your uploaded documents are stored securely and processed by our AI pipeline. Documents are only accessible to you (the sender) and your designated recipients via a secure share link. We do not read or access your documents except for the purpose of providing the AI Q&A service.

5. AI processing

Share Smart AI uses large language models to process your documents and answer recipient questions. Our AI is grounded only in the content you upload. It does not draw on external data sources. Every AI answer cites the specific document section it came from.

6. Data retention

During beta, we retain your data for the duration of your account. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us. We will formalise a retention policy before full launch.

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Our infrastructure runs on managed cloud services with access controls. We are actively working toward SOC 2 compliance (coming post-beta).

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Email us at support@sharesmartai.com for any data requests.

9. Changes to this policy

We'll notify registered users of any material changes to this policy by email before they take effect.
